Sundays are for church and planning
How do you spend your Sundays? You know how people say how you spend New Year's or who you spend it with is how the rest of your year will go... well, that's sort of how I feel about Sundays. Whether I work Monday to Friday or not, I still have that mentality, so I like my Sundays to be chill so that I can get ready for the week. I had a friend say she plans her week on Wednesdays, and I thought that was so bizarre, but depending on what you may have to do, mid-week planning may work for you. As for me and my house, we will do most of the planning on Sundays (hahaha). I say most because when trash day was on Friday, I started meal planning on Thursdays for two reasons: 1. I cleaned the refrigerator on Thursdays, and so I was able to create a list of what was needed. 2. I hate grocery shopping on the weekend, although in Atlanta, well, Atlanta metro, the only time places aren't that crowded is when they first open, but Walmart has a line at 4:59, so sometimes that's not even true. Back to the question, how do you spend your Sundays? I have an ideal routine day, but most are not ideal. I would love to work out first thing in the morning, but that would mean waking up at 4 to work out so I can make it to 8 am service. After a good after-church nap, I wake up, cook dinner if I haven't meal prepped, clean, and get ready to plan my week. One day (maybe today), I want to plan about 90% of the week; this means meals, snacks, what I'm wearing, where I'm going, and what I'll be doing. I just know I'll be more productive when I have a routine down pat and I'm not trying to figure it out each week. This sounds like a plan to me! Comment below with how you want to spend your Sundays and how you actually spend your Sundays, and track your week to see if there's any difference. Go get it, goal diggers, and remember, with God, all things are possible.
